Elmer Eric Gustav Seger Elmer graduated from Merrill High School in 1925. He then attended Lincoln County Normal and Stevens Point Teachers' College. For two years, he was principal of the elementary school in Embarrass, WI. He attended Wheaton College, Wheaton, ILL, and Student Bible Institute in Denver, CO where he received his ministerial degree in 1933. He was ordained by the Church of the Open Bible in Denver on May 31, 1933, and again, by transfer, by the Evangelical Free Church of America on June 21, 1956. It was while he was a pastor and teacher at the Denver Bible Institute that he met Valerie Pattee. They were married December 27, 1936 in Grand Rapids, MI. She died February 21, 1990 in Hayward, CA. For more than 60 years, Elmer was a pastor and teacher in Wisconsin, Iowa, Illinois, Colorado and California. He retired May 31, 1992 after having served as Minister of Pastoral Care at the Evangelical Free Church in Fremont, CA for 17 years. During his last years he lived with daughter Miriam Bundy in Highland, CA. He died (information detail needed) Children:
