Linus Vald Seger (Born February 20, 1894, died January 15, 1990 in Peshtigo, WI)

Linus worked in a drug store in Merrill for several years before attending the Marquette University School of Pharmacy. Following graduation in 1915, he moved to Marinette where he worked in the Krueger Drug Store. He became managed of the Lundgren Pharmacy in 1916 and in January, 1920 purchased the Albin Drug Store in Peshtigo, which was owned by three area doctors. He changed the name to Seger Drug Store and put in new drugs and other items. In July, 1964 he sold the business, but continued working as the pharmacist for four years. From 1968 until 1988, he kept busy three to four days a week working in various clinics and pharmacies in the area, doing relief work for other pharmacists.

He was active in Pioneer Presbyterian Church in Marinette as an elder and a member of the church choir and the Men's Club. He also was active in Peshtigo Community Chest and served as local chairman for the American Red Cross. A past master of the Peshtigo Masonic Lodge and past patron of the Order of the Eastern Star, he also belonged to the Marinette Commandery of Masons. Other activities included membership in the Peshtigo Oddfellows for more than 50 years, a member of the Marinette Kiwanis Club for more than 40 years and a member of the Salvation Army Board for more than seven years. In 1976, he was selected as Citizen of the Year by the Peshtogo Chanber of Commerce.

Linus married Harriet Mathies August, 1914 and they had three children, John, Barbara and Frederick. Family illness caused their separation, and she moved to California in the late 1930s. Following their divorce, he married Agnes Graebner November 4, 1941. Their children are Holly and Linda. Linus died in a Peshtigo nursing home January 15, 1990 shortly after undergoing hip surgery. 95 years, 330 Days.

John: Born August 20, 1922 in Peshtigo, WI. Died in 1949 in a plane crash while serving in the Navy.

Barbara Ruth (Anderson): Born June 12, 1929 in Menominee, MI. January 2002 she lives in Tucson, AZ (with Herm Siegel) (Son Gregory John, daughter Beth Ellen (Zarling).)

Frederick: Born February 25, 1932 in Peshtigo, WI
January 2002 he lives in Tucson, AZ (Sons Frederick, David and Eric).

Holly (Roth): Born December 7, 1943 in Marinette, WI
January 2002 she lives in Huntington Station NY (Husband Gunther, daughter Susan).
